A Career as a Trusted Advisor to our Clients

San Pasqual Trust’s trustee-only model allows for us to administer many trusts that hold unique and complex assets beyond just cash and marketable securities. No two trusts are the same, and this keeps our work interesting and dynamic. Working at San Pasqual Trust, you will have the opportunity to assist in the management of trusts for high-net-worth families while gaining exposure to the various disciplines that intersect with trust administration, including estate planning, investment management, real estate management, insurance, taxation, and law.

If you are:

  • Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, wanting to be directly involved in the day-to-day administration of trusts for our clients and you embrace the phrase “other duties as required.”
  • Naturally curious, interested in always learning and growing within your career field.
  • An organized, detail-oriented, hands-on team player who enjoys a challenge.
  • A strong communicator, willing and able to take the initiative to pick up the phone to speak with clients or outside advisors to improve client service.

Then we would like you to consider a career with San Pasqual Fiduciary Trust Company.

At San Pasqual Trust, our team members provide services that our clients rely upon. We focus on trust administration, and do our best to know and understand the people that we serve.

Individuals who are interested in applying for open positions are also welcome to apply directly via LinkedIn.

In addition to embracing a hybrid work environment and providing competitive pay, San Pasqual Trust provides a rich benefits package for our team members. We continually evaluate our total compensation program so that we can best support our employees at all stages of their careers.

As a small but growing firm, San Pasqual Trust offers our employees the opportunity to learn and grow in their positions. We provide frequent in-house training sessions with a focus on the different aspects of trust administration, and all of our team members have the opportunity to work with members of the senior leadership team. We pride ourselves on promoting from within.

San Pasqual Trust pays for job-related certification and credentialing classes, as well as professional association dues for our employees.

At San Pasqual Trust, we recognize that people from diverse backgrounds bring a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job. We encourage people from all professional and career backgrounds to apply for our open positions. We are an equal-opportunity employer.

We encourage and support our team members in community service, with our employee-led Philanthropic Task Force providing volunteer opportunities and monetary support to local charities in Southern California and Northern Nevada. Any member of the San Pasqual Trust team who wishes to participate may join the PTF. The firm allocates funds to the PTF, provides employees with Volunteer Time Off hours to encourage participation in volunteer opportunities, and the committee members determine the charities to receive our volunteer and financial support.

San Pasqual Trust’s Summer Associate Program is a 6-week, paid working opportunity available to current college students. Summer Associates assist our teams in their trust administration duties while learning the basic principles of trust administration. The program runs from June through August each summer, with candidates selected by the end of April. Our goal is to have successful Summer Associates return to work for San Pasqual Trust as full-time employees after graduation.
